Story

On meteorites, mankind discovered a new element, the Metamite. Caused by experiments with this powerful source of energy, portals to a distant planet broke up. The portals were unstable but some exotic creatures arrived on Earth. Germs in the atmosphere infested the peace-loving Metamons and mutated them into fierce monsters. One specimen was immune and thus an antidote could be developed against.
